The Legal AI Clean Room
Establish a matter-specific Claude environment before touching any client document. Configure session context, redaction conventions, and output limits so that confidential information stays scoped to the matter at hand.
Nine practice workflows. Each one starts with a real client matter โ redaction, intake, contract review, research organization โ and ends with a work-product-ready output. Built for practicing attorneys who bill time, not for people learning about AI.
This course is for licensed attorneys admitted to a U.S. bar. It is not legal advice, not CLE-approved, and not designed for non-lawyers. Claude assists your process. Your judgment remains the practice of law.

The Case for This Course
Why This Course Exists
A structured clause-by-clause extraction prompt cuts first-pass review time in half โ without the hallucination risk of asking Claude to read the law for you.
Triage workflows let Claude pre-organize the matter type, conflict indicators, and jurisdiction flags before you pick up the phone.
The Legal AI Clean Room module establishes exactly how to configure Claude for matter-specific work without leaking client data across contexts.
A structured research log built with Claude turns case notes into an argument-ready outline โ organized by issue, not by the order you found things.
This course teaches a verification-first approach: Claude drafts, you supervise, and every output goes through a mandatory human-review checkpoint before it touches a client file.
The Opposing Counsel Simulator uses Claude to steelman the other side's strongest arguments โ so you hear them in preparation, not at deposition.
How Each Workflow Is Structured
Each workflow opens with a concrete legal scenario โ a real type of matter, a real time pressure, a real consequence if the work-product misses. Not a toy example. Not a hypothetical law school question.
You receive the exact prompt structure, context-setting instructions, and guardrails for that workflow โ including what Claude should never do and how to catch the errors it's most likely to make in that matter type.
The workflow produces something you can use or review immediately: a redacted draft, a research log, a clause extraction, a triage summary. Your sign-off closes the loop. Claude never does.
Nine Workflows
Establish a matter-specific Claude environment before touching any client document. Configure session context, redaction conventions, and output limits so that confidential information stays scoped to the matter at hand.
Use Claude to identify redaction targets across document sets โ names, account numbers, privilege indicators โ then apply a review layer before any document leaves your desk. Includes a systematic spot-check protocol.
Extract clauses by category, flag unusual terms against market standard, and generate a first-pass risk summary โ all before your own analysis begins. Designed to accelerate review, not replace it.
Turn case notes, citations, and deposition fragments into an argument-organized research log. Claude structures your notes by issue and counter-argument; you decide which arguments hold. Includes an issue-mapping template.
First-draft acceleration for motions, letters, and correspondence โ with a mandatory human-review checkpoint at each output. Claude does not write final documents. You receive drafts structured for your review, not for client delivery.
Instruct Claude to argue the other side โ steelmanning the opposing position's strongest form before you've committed to a strategy. Designed for deposition prep, motion strategy, and settlement analysis.
Pre-structure client intake with Claude before the first call: matter type, jurisdiction, conflict indicators, urgency tier, and open questions. Cuts intake calls and produces a matter-opening summary you can review in two minutes.
The most important module. How to catch Claude's most common failure modes โ confident hallucination, citation fabrication, subtle paraphrase errors โ before they reach a client file. Verification checklists for each workflow type.
The complete prompt library for every workflow in this course โ ready to copy, adapt, and use in your practice. Organized by matter type. Includes configuration templates, redaction prompts, review checklists, and intake frameworks.
Your Instructor
Anthony Guerriero spent the formative part of his career at Deloitte & Touche working in forensic accounting and M&A disputes โ which means he spent years working directly beside attorneys on complex matters where precision wasn't optional and a single missed detail had financial and legal consequences.
He is not an attorney. He does not practice law. What he knows intimately is how attorneys work under time pressure, what a work-product output actually needs to look like, and where AI tools break down in that environment.
The Digital Associate is the course he would have wanted available when he was consulting on M&A disputes: a practical, compliance-forward toolkit for a profession that cannot afford to experiment on client matters.
He built it with his co-founder Ricardo Mello, whose two-decade practice building ManhattanMiami's foreign-buyer business was majority attorney clients โ and whose experience using Claude to systematize complex, relationship-dependent work shaped the underlying method.
Not legal advice. Nothing in this course constitutes legal advice, and no attorney-client relationship is formed by enrollment or completion. All examples are illustrative of workflow methodology, not legal guidance.
Not CLE-approved. This course has not been submitted for or approved as Continuing Legal Education credit in any jurisdiction. It does not fulfill MCLE requirements.
Not for non-lawyers. The workflows in this course are designed specifically for licensed attorneys who understand professional responsibility, privilege, and the constraints of law practice. Non-attorneys should not apply these workflows to client matters.
A workflow course for practicing attorneys. This course teaches prompt engineering, session configuration, and output verification methods โ applied specifically to the types of work-product tasks that licensed attorneys perform. Your professional judgment governs every output.
Jurisdiction-neutral. Workflows are designed to be applied across U.S. jurisdictions. Attorneys are responsible for confirming that their use of AI tools complies with the professional responsibility rules of their state bar and any applicable bar opinions on AI use in practice.
