Your first useful conversation with Claude, without becoming technical.
You do not need to become an AI person. You do not need to follow every tool, learn prompt engineering, or pretend this is more exciting than it is. You need one useful working session. That is what this course is built for.
Most smart people are not stuck because they lack curiosity. You are stuck because nobody has shown you how to use the tool against the work already sitting on your desk. This course starts there โ not with theory, not with hype, not with a tour of every AI app on the internet.
Claude drafts, organizes, summarizes, and cleans up the first pass. You verify, decide, edit, and own the work. That is the rule from the first lesson.
Listen: 5-Minute Overview of The Leverage Starter
A calm spoken summary of what the course covers, who it is for, and what you leave with.
Read the transcript
If you are a senior professional โ a partner, a managing director, a vice president, a CPA, an attorney, a consultant โ and you have been watching AI conversation happen around you without quite knowing where to start, this overview is for you.
You are not late. You are under-leveraged.
Most accomplished professionals who arrive here carry a version of the same thought: everyone else seems to be using AI, and somehow they missed the window. That framing is not just wrong โ it leads to the wrong course and the wrong expectations.
The professionals who spent the last two years experimenting with AI tools got good at AI tools. You spent those years getting sharper at your actual profession โ deeper client relationships, harder problems, more judgment built up. That is not a deficit. That is the starting position.
The question is not whether you should have started earlier. The question is: what do you do with the combination of real professional experience and a genuinely useful tool that is now mature enough to apply to real work? You are not late. You are under-leveraged. Those are different problems with different solutions.
What Claude is and how this course uses it
Claude is an AI assistant made by Anthropic. It is not a search engine. It is not a replacement for professional judgment. It is a text-based work amplifier โ best understood as a private thinking partner that drafts, organizes, summarizes, and helps you turn your knowledge into clear, actionable outputs.
The core rule โ stated plainly in Module 0 and repeated throughout โ is this: Claude drafts, organizes, summarizes, and prepares. You verify, review, decide, and own the work product. Professional judgment stays with you.
What the course covers
The Leverage Starter is six modules and 28 lessons โ approximately ten to eleven hours of total course time.
Module 0: Foundation. Clean Room setup โ the one discipline that makes everything else safe. Your Work Context File. The Starter Foundation Acknowledgments covering sanitization, confidentiality, and professional responsibility. Your first three working prompts and a completed Time Reclamation Worksheet that names exactly where your professional hours are going.
Module 1: Internal Leverage. Four high-stakes workflows. Meeting Intelligence turns raw notes into a clean action memo with owners, deadlines, and flagged risks, in under five minutes. Executive Brief takes a messy document and produces a one-page senior-ready brief. Decision Memo structures a real decision โ options, trade-offs, recommendation โ in a format ready for a second opinion. Weekly Update turns Friday's scattered notes into a clean, honest update in fifteen minutes instead of forty-five.
Module 2: Replace Admin With Direction. Five administrative leverage workflows โ Inbox Triage, Document Synthesis, SOP Builder, and Delegation Note. The invisible tax of professional admin is real. These lessons give you specific prompts and templates to reduce that friction.
Module 3: Visibility Without Cringe. Internal Authority Assets โ frameworks, pre-reads, lessons-learned documents. External authority in professional voice, including ten LinkedIn post frameworks that do not sound like influencer theater. Voice Calibration โ a specific process for teaching Claude your professional voice. And the five-minute human edit: how to remove AI stink before anything goes out.
Module 4: The Weekly Leverage Routine. A 90-minute weekly block divided into three 30-minute segments: Work Cleanup, Authority Asset, and Future Asset. Individual workflows are not a system. This module builds one. You leave with a Leverage Tracker, three routine reference cards, and a Future Asset Prompt Library.
Module 5: Capstone. Your Personal Claude Stack โ fifteen workflows assembled into one documented, repeatable system. Your 90-Day Calibration Plan. And Career-Arc Foreshadowing: where this course fits in the larger Leverage Years architecture, and what profession-specific depth looks like in the next tier.
What you leave with
A working Personal Claude Stack: fifteen workflows, four foundational disciplines, and a sustainable 90-minute weekly routine โ calibrated to your actual work, in your professional voice, ready to use on Monday. More than twenty templates, checklists, and reference cards. Fifteen-plus copy-paste-ready Claude prompts. Six consolidated module packs and one final Capstone Pack.
Who this is for
Managing directors at financial services firms. Partners at law firms, accounting firms, and consulting firms. Vice presidents and principals. Senior associates approaching partner track. Senior accountants and CPAs. Attorneys in private practice or in-house. Wealth advisors. Family office professionals. Founders of professional services businesses. Senior executives in operating roles.
Professionals, typically over 40, who are accomplished at their work and too senior to tolerate training material pitched at consumer audiences. If you want practical AI leverage in your current role โ not a career pivot, not a technical deep-dive, not a monetization strategy โ this is the course.
Founding access is $199. That price will move to $395 as the production content set expands. No countdown clocks. The price moves when production maturity criteria are met.
This has been an overview of The Leverage Starter from The Leverage Years.
You do not need more information. You need a repeatable way to use it.
The work that quietly eats your week.
Most beginners are not behind because they lack intelligence. They are behind because every new tool feels like another thing to manage.
This course gives you a simpler way to use Claude, without turning yourself into a technical person.
- Too much time spent on routine work
- Too many messy inputs, never the same twice
- Too much rewriting, organizing, and explaining
- Too little time left for the work that actually matters
- No clear way to use AI without feeling overwhelmed
What the next ninety days can actually look like.
Most weeks now
- You write the same kind of email three different ways
- You rewrite junior drafts past midnight
- You explain the same ideas to clients in slightly worse versions
- You experiment with AI tools and never go back to them
- You finish the week behind on the work that matters
Most weeks after this.
- Have your first useful working session with Claude
- Walk through three simple weekly workflows you can repeat
- Set up a quiet, safe way to work with sensitive information
- Stop being intimidated by the tool
This course is for you if any of these sound like your week.
You are smart, experienced, and tired of feeling behind
You want one clear win before you commit to anything bigger
If you want shortcuts that remove human review, this is not it.
Every workflow assumes a professional review layer. Judgment stays with you.
By the end of this course, you can.

The honest comparison across all four tiers.
Every tier ladders up. You can always start lower and step up. You cannot start at IV and step down, at that level the install is in your firm, not on your desk.
A four-week, four-step rhythm.
You can finish faster. Most members do not. The cadence is built so you actually use the work, not just consume it.

Executive kickoff, workflow audit, Never Upload Index, custom prompt vaults, the 15-Minute Senior Review Protocol, training, and a written operating manual handed to your team.
Final fee depends on firm size, workflow complexity, number of teams, and timeline. Request a scope-review call and we will send a real number within a week.

Messy meeting notes in, clean readable recap out, every time.
Module 06 ยท Your Never Upload List
A short, plain-English list of what stays off Claude, full stop.
Here are my notes from a 45-minute call with [client redacted]. Reorganize into: decisions made, open items with owners, next steps, and three follow-up questions for me. Plain English. No filler. Flag anything you're uncertain about so I can verify before sending.
- 01. Have you removed names, account numbers, or identifying detail?
- 02. Does the draft answer the actual question you were asked?
- 03. Are the facts checked against the source, not memory?
- 04. Have you removed anything Claude invented or assumed?
- 05. Would you sign your name to it as written, today?
Monday, 9am: a 600-word email thread you've been avoiding and a half-written reply. By 9:12am, you have a clean draft response with three open questions for the client โ for your review.
What changes on a normal Tuesday.
Same desk, same week, same client. The difference is the first hour.
The way the morning starts now
- Three open tabs and a half-written email
- A meeting recap you keep meaning to finish
- An inbox that quietly grows while you write
- A junior draft you're going to rewrite tonight
The way it can start instead.
- A clean draft, organized, ready for your review
- A recap with open items and owners โ for your review
- An inbox triaged in twelve minutes โ for your review
- A junior draft pressure-tested before you read it โ for your review
Three modes. Used differently.
There isn't one way to use Claude โ there are three. The course teaches when to use each, and when not to.
Claude Chat
Thinking, drafting, summarizing, and improving day-to-day work.
Example: drafting your first useful email reply on a Monday morning.
Claude Cowork
Ongoing work that benefits from context, continuity, and repeated collaboration.
Example: your client folder, your style preferences, your firm's tone โ kept consistent across weeks.
Claude Code
Structured projects: complex file structures, organizing large sets of documents, and simple private internal dashboards.
Example: organizing 200 PDFs from a long-running project into one clean, searchable archive.
The Leverage Years teaches when to use each, and when not to.
Plan requirements: Claude Chat runs on any Claude plan. Cowork and Code require a paid Claude subscription (Pro / Max / Team / Enterprise) and the Claude Desktop app on macOS or Windows. They're not available on the free plan, on web, or on mobile.
Claude shouldn't replace your judgment. It should remove the first-pass burden so your judgment has more room to matter.
The Never Upload List is enforced from the first lesson. Client information, account numbers, and identifying detail stay off Claude.
You decide, every time. Claude drafts, organizes, and pressure-tests. The decision is yours and stays yours.
Every workflow ends at a senior review gate โ the 15-minute checklist before anything leaves your desk.
A policy template is included so you can hand a written standard to your firm or your manager.
There's no shortcut around it. Speed never substitutes for the relationship.
The sanitization rules give you a plain-English Red / Yellow / Green model โ what to remove, what to mask, what's safe.
Human review is required before anything leaves your desk. That's the rule from day one โ and the rule on day three hundred.
Common questions.
- Do I need any AI experience?
- No prior AI experience required. This assumes deep professional expertise and your first real working session with Claude.
- How long does it take?
- Get your first win in week one. The full library—7 modules—is yours for life.
- Is this practical or theoretical?
- Practical. Every lesson ends with a copy-paste prompt, a real example, and a checklist. No "future of work" talks.
- Will this work for my profession?
- Yes. Beginners are the audience this was built around. The workflows match the actual deliverables you produce most weeks.
- What if I get stuck?
- Every course buyer gets The Leverage Club included, there is one room inside for asking working questions, plus a written Vault. You will not be alone in a forum with strangers.
- Is it safe to use at work?
- The course includes a clear policy template, the Never Upload List, sanitization rules, and the 15-Minute Senior Review Protocol. You leave with rules you can defend in an internal meeting.
- How is this different from other AI courses?
- Most AI courses teach you to experiment. This course teaches you to apply. You will not finish with 200 prompts you forget. You will finish with one operating system you actually run.
- Can my firm buy several seats?
- Yes. For 5+ seats we offer firm pricing. For a true company-wide implementation, see the Enterprise tier ($35k+, scope-priced).
Your first useful conversation with Claude, without becoming technical.
A quiet starting point for people who have heard about AI for a year and still have not actually used it for anything useful.
